About

Afternoons

Mornings

Farm Camp is designed

 to inspire and nurture a faithful response to love, care for, and protect our fellow beings and the Earth.

We weave together

experiences of wonder, awe,

curiosity, delight and gratitude

for the Earth and Creation.

We craft “learning in action” experiences – combining discovery, hands-on and open-ended activities, imagination, curiosity, story,

art, and play.

While children are invited to participate in a wide-range of activities each day, we encourage each child to follow their particular interests, explore and discover, and “just” play - allowing for deep and joyful learning.

 One of the greatest gifts we can

give children is the freedom to

lead their own play.

When kids choose how they play, what they play with, and

where their curiosity takes them, amazing things happen.

    Camp Staff

    Our trained staff centers the physical and emotional health and well-being of our campers in all they do. Low camper-to-staff ratios allow children a sense of freedom while providing a safe and nurturing environment, enabling each one to try new things, build friendships, and make lifetime summer memories.

    Staff is First Aid/CPR certified and trained in farm safety, child development, and group dynamics.

    At Dinner Bell Farm, every kid is unique and every kid matters. We strive to bring out the best in each child, encouraging their gifts, and nurturing positive relationships. We believe that it is our responsibility to provide an environment where each child can thrive.

    About THE FARM

    Dinner Bell Farm

    Dinner Bell Farm is a local family farm growing chemical-free, highly nutritious, delicious food,

    which is good for people, good for the animals, and good for the Earth.

    Farmers, John and Stephanie Campbell,

    grow vegetables, fruit, and herbs;

    pasture-raised pork, chicken, goat, and eggs;

    and offer farm and forest experiences and events.

    Our farm is a source of inspiration not only for what we grow, cook and eat, but also for how we live.

    Community matters to us - knowing each other’s names and building friendships, sharing welcome and hospitality,

    belonging together as partners with the land.

    We are stewards of this beautiful forty acres and we love sharing it with children and families!

    • Your children will enjoy the:
    • big red barn for shelter, gathering, meals, and activities;
    • market gardens, greenhouse, and hub (and the farmers!);
    • animals - hens, baby chicks, pigs, cows, and goats;
    • pastures and play spaces;
    • fifteen acres of forest, pond, and creek.
