The perfect place for children to connect with nature, make friends, and have fun!
Days full of farm and forest activities, child-led play, and practices which foster
curiosity, wonder, and exploration.

Farm Camp is designed
to inspire and nurture a faithful response to love, care for, and protect our fellow beings and the Earth.
We weave together
experiences of wonder, awe,
curiosity, delight and gratitude
for the Earth and Creation.
We craft “learning in action” experiences – combining discovery, hands-on and open-ended activities, imagination, curiosity, story,
art, and play.
While children are invited to participate in a wide-range of activities each day, we encourage each child to follow their particular interests, explore and discover, and “just” play - allowing for deep and joyful learning.
One of the greatest gifts we can
give children is the freedom to
lead their own play.
When kids choose how they play, what they play with, and
where their curiosity takes them, amazing things happen.

Mornings will be led by two qualified and gifted teachers for each age group, crafting engaging activities
which will include:

Afternoons will be full of invitations to play, explore, and create
in two sessions each afternoon:
Nature Art
Our art teacher will provide a variety of mediums to work with along with natural elements the children discover.
Creative expression and individual interests will be encouraged.
Outdoor Play
Child-led opportunities to play including:

Our trained staff centers the physical and emotional health and well-being of our campers in all they do. Low camper-to-staff ratios allow children a sense of freedom while providing a safe and nurturing environment, enabling each one to try new things, build friendships, and make lifetime summer memories.
Staff is First Aid/CPR certified and trained in farm safety, child development, and group dynamics.
At Dinner Bell Farm, every kid is unique and every kid matters. We strive to bring out the best in each child, encouraging their gifts, and nurturing positive relationships. We believe that it is our responsibility to provide an environment where each child can thrive.

Lead Teacher, Camp Director, and
Chief Imagination Officer
Stephanie has over thirty years of experience in teaching and leading children’s programming. She has taught all ages of children in all types of settings and led
numerous summer camps.
Nothing makes her happier than sharing the delight of discovery, imagination, learning, and creativity with children!
She loves creating environments where people can learn and grow, especially in the outdoors.
It is a privilege to introduce kids to the natural world of our farm and forest, help them discover how capable they are, and watch them grow in confidence and friendship
with each other, and
with all of creation, every day.
Stephanie moved to NC in 2015 from Southwest FL to establish Dinner Bell Farm with her family and to discover how to live in harmony with the land and nature. They practice organic and regenerative farming and are committed to creating and preserving habitat for native wildlife.
Stephanie is an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church, is a Certified Forest Bathing Guide, has training in Horticulture Therapy and Mindfulness, and is following her passion to reconnect people with nature, for the betterment of themselves, their communities,
and the Earth.

Dinner Bell Farm is a local family farm growing chemical-free, highly nutritious, delicious food,
which is good for people, good for the animals, and good for the Earth.
Farmers, John and Stephanie Campbell,
grow vegetables, fruit, and herbs;
pasture-raised pork, chicken, goat, and eggs;
and offer farm and forest experiences and events.
Our farm is a source of inspiration not only for what we grow, cook and eat, but also for how we live.
Community matters to us - knowing each other’s names and building friendships, sharing welcome and hospitality,
belonging together as partners with the land.
We are stewards of this beautiful forty acres and we love sharing it with children and families!
