Our purpose is to provide
eco experiences, educational events, and retreats
to inspire and nurture a faithful response to love, care for, and protect our fellow beings and the Earth.
Never before in history have people been so plugged-in and so out-of-touch with the natural world.
Creation is God's first Testament and
God continues to reveal God-self through creation.
As Christians, we join together to extend ecological awareness and environmental stewardship, rooted in our Christian story and faith, to renew a healthy God-given relationship
to the Earth
and the other-than-human-beings who are our kin.
Stephanie moved to NC in 2015 from Southwest FL to establish Dinner Bell Farm with her family and to discover how to live in harmony with the land and nature. They practice organic and regenerative farming and are committed to creating and preserving habitat for native wildlife.
Stephanie has almost forty years of experience teaching and leading faith-based programming with children, families, and adults. Most recently she served for over six years at Life Around the Table, leading Sabbath Life retreats on her farm and other sites, and teaching faithful eating practices for the
flourishing of all creation.
Stephanie is a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, has training in Horticulture Therapy and Mindfulness, is an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church, and is following her passion to reconnect people with nature, for the betterment of themselves, their communities, and the Earth.
At Dinner Bell Farm, (or in a location of your choice) we craft
“learning in action” experiences, creating a space where we can individually and collectively experience and be present to community, creation, and Christ.
We offer ways of connecting which speak not only to the intellect, but also to the imagination and emotions. We offer nourishment for
mind, body, and spirit
– head, heart, and hands.
Some options:
- Day Retreats and Workshops for your Church and/or Group
- Kids Nature Events for children and/or youth
