Dinner Bell Farm is an eco-friendly venue
for gatherings that benefit from
the presence of nature as a co-creator, a peaceful setting,
radical hospitality, and the inclusive welcome of all.
We look forward to working with you to design your
special gathering or celebration, or a group meeting, workshop, or retreat.
Dinner Bell Farm is a local family farm growing chemical-free, highly nutritious, delicious food, which is good for people, good for the animals, and good for the Earth.
Our forty-acre farm provides a beautifully rustic setting for your gathering. Spaces available include our renovated barn with outdoor gathering space and fire pit. Other outdoor areas include pastures, gardens, pond, and a forest with creek and trails.
The historic dairy barn has been renovated with natural wood and beautiful lighting, a soaring ceiling and concrete floor throughout,
large barn doors and barn quilt windows, a serving kitchen with sinks and a refrigerator, and a loft overlooking the main room.
The barn can accommodate up to 112 people seated at tables. A large entry space outside the barn doors, the fire pit, and a field to enjoy open air or with an optional event tent, provide additional gathering space. There is space for catering or a food truck outside the barn.
Bathrooms are on our wish list! For now, a clean porta potty is provided, or you can reserve special event bathrooms and comfort stations from a local vendor.
A pasture near the beginning of the driveway is marked off for
ample parking.
Handicapped parking, and drop off locations, are available nearer to the barn.
A Guest House is available for rental through Airbnb. The Guest House includes two bedrooms, 1 ½ bathrooms, a full kitchen, living room, covered carport and private yard.
In addition to providing a beautiful space and hospitality for all kinds of gatherings, we can work with you to include guided opportunities to connect with nature through
eco experiences, educational programs, and retreats.
These may include farm tours and garden activities; hands-on visits to the chickens, pigs, and goats;
Forest Bathing Walks and
nature immersion experiences; children and youth activities; and Sabbath or spiritual retreats.
Details regarding set-up/clean-up, catering, alcohol, music, insurance, space heaters and fans, etc. will be covered in a pre-planning meeting and a written contract.
